Our installation of August 2021 is by M3 Floodtec in Droitwich.
‘Providing products that are designed to stop flood water entering into a building need to be precision engineered, manufactured from the best products available and accredited to a National Standard, independent testing to the latest British Standard gives the Customer assurance that the flood product works and is reliable.
Sourcing products to make a composite flood door, M3 Floodtec selected Palladio composite door slabs due to our robust construction which is the best on the composite door market. Using a Palladio slab as the base, M3 installed their patented flood seals to the door and frame, together with the multi-cam locking arrangement that provides a watertight seal when closed. This enabled M3 Floodtec to be the first to achieve the Kitemark to the new BS851188 flood product standard.
Long term testing has proved that the M3 Floodtec Composite flood door using the Palladio slab is 100% reliable against external flooding up to 1.0m in depth.’
Have a look at our flood-testing video run on BBC to know it yourself:
M3 Floodtec attended an NEC flood exhibition in Birmingham and had our doors on display.
Come home to Palladio!
