Heritage Slam Lock: An automatic 5-point locking system which is operated as soon as the door closes. This means that an external lever handle is not required to operate the locking points and the lock can be deadlocked or opened externally by turning the key. From the inside, the door can be opened by an internal thumb turn. The door is closed the lock automatically fires into the locked position and the key is then required to gain entry from the outside.
The lock can be additionally secured by throwing the deadbolt with the key on the outside and the thumb turn on the inside.
Yale Lock: The Mantis 3 has a 10-point locking system offering industry-leading levels of tolerance, service life, weatherproofing and security. The lock is PAS 23/24 2016 accredited.
The Yale lock can be used as a lever or a lever pad handle; the lock consists of a 16mm stainless steel faceplate with 4 roller cams, 2 linear bolts, 2 hooks, a thumb latch and 2 deadbolts.
Cylinder: 3-star cylinder can be supplied as an (optional extra) for the ultimate security.

When installing a Palladio or an Avant Garde door with a slam lock and 600mm curved, 1200mm pull bar or slendertech handle, it is important to note that we pre-drill a 7mm pilot hole only by a machine as a guide to where the handles will be fitted. The holes must be drilled up prior to fitting the handle using an 8mm or 9mm drill bit.
